Announcements and Important Events
Welcome Back!! Teams will meet in the following locations after school to allow athletes to change and take attendance. The practice schedule for the rest of this week is listed below. Students should have a backup plan for afterschool if practices should ever be canceled because of weather.
Athletes will have access to the above changing areas but are not to leave belongings in the locker rooms. We encourage athletes to bring a smaller, separate sports bag that can be used as a mobile – locker as needed. Bags should be marked and brought out to practice with them so that they do not need to return to the building after practice. The Late Buses will leave KMS at 4:45pm. Parents should wait for their athletes by the football tower/CES. No sharing of water bottles or personal equipment please.
Masks are required when athletes are in the building and should be worn when they cannot be socially distant.
Field Hockey: Thursday 9/2 2:30-4:30 & Friday 9/3 No Practice (No Bartlett little bus). Field Hockey will meet in the Band Room – and use the hallway bathroom to change in small groups once coach has checked you in. Bus will leave Bartlett @ approx. 1:35 to bring athletes to practice at KMS - Bartlett players will be arriving by 2:15.
Cross Country: Thursday 9/2 & Friday 9/3: 2:30-4:30. Cross Country will meet in the cafeteria and us the cafeteria hallway bathrooms.
Football: Thursday 9/2 5:30-7:30 & Friday 9/3: No Practice . Football will use their locker-room in the evenings and wait outside when getting pads/helmet on.
Girls & Boys Soccer: Thursday 9/2 & Friday 9/3: 2:30-4:30. Boys & Girls Soccer will meet in the Gym after school (girls on one side, boys on the other). Soccer will be using the gym locker rooms to change.
** If a player is not feeling well or has the onset of new or unfamiliar symptoms, please stay home and contact your coach. Students will not be in trouble for missing games or practices because of cautions over Covid-19.
If you have any questions, please let me know or reach out to the individual coaches about the schedules. Vigilance in our precautions and following the guidelines around Year 2’s Covid-19 Guidelines is imperative to keep our athletes healthy and programs going.
Hope everyone has a great 1st day of School!
