KMS Ski Team Vs ESSC Ski Club:

The KMS Nordic and Alpine ski teams are for cross country and/or downhill skiers  who will participate in team practices 2-3 days a week after school at KMS (for dryland) or at Whitaker Woods or Cranmore.  One day per week, there will be a race at a local or nearby ski mountain or XC course.  Skiers will be expected to take a couple of competition runs or compete in the XC ski race.  This will be for individual and an over-all team score, and more importantly, personal development and extended ski time.

The KMS ESSC Ski Club is coordinated by the school day staff and volunteer teachers.  The ski club takes place one day a week for skiers and snow boarders, and there are no races.

ImPact Testing, Permission forms & Physicals: Please sign up by adding the athletes name and contact info to the list at www.GoKMS.com and submit permission forms online - under  Forms section of https://sau9.powerschool.com/public/home.html.  Permission forms must be filled out for each sport, every season. Paper forms are available at www.goKMS.com under “Files & Links” or can be picked up at Reception Office.

Click here for ImPact TESTING link.  ImPACT Testing for untested athletes can be done remotely online or contact KMS Athletic Coordinator, Gredel Shaw for assistance.  *If you have been successfully ImPact tested for a previous season or last school year (7th grade), you are all set – you do not need to re-take the ImPACT test.

A current and up-to-date physical must be on file with the nurse’s office.  If a physical expires mid-season, a child will not be able to participate until proof of a new physical is on file with school.
