Last Call for KMS Winter Sport Registrations 11/9

Howdy KMS!

The Winter Sports Deadline is this Thrursday, 11/9.  Please be sure to register your athlete online and return paper permission forms to KMS ASAP!  Coaches would like to create contact lists and practice plans for upcoming preseason based on numbers of participants. I will be turning off the registration option tomorrow night 11/9.

Athletes must have taken and passed the ImPACT test last year as a 7th grader  or this fall as a new 7th grader. You do not need to retake the test if you took it last year or this fall and passed.  An ImPACT test must al be completed by 11/9 and can be accessed HERE. It must be taken on a laptop or desk top computer,  NO TABLETS/iPads.

Proof of physical (valid within 2 years) must be on file at school or a copy of the most recent physical should be attached to  paper permission forms.

For Skiers -

Nordic (X-Country) will tentatively begin dry-land training after school on Tuesday 11/28 & Wed 11/29.  

Alpine (downhill)  will begin dry-land training after school on Monday 12/4, Tuesday 12/5 & Thursday 12/7. 

Coaches will send information out to parents via emails provided in the Google Registration form above as we get closer.

2023 ESSC Ski Sale Info: 

The 53rd Annual Eastern Slope Ski Club Ski Sale is set for Nov. 10th & 11th.

The Eastern Slope Ski Club (ESSC) will be hosting its 53rd annual gear sale at the North Conway Community Center on Friday, November 10th (2pm-7pm) and Saturday, November 11th (9am-12pm).

Thursday, November 9th – 5 to 8 pm DROP OFF NIGHT

Friday, November 10th – 2 to 7 pm SKI SALE (2-3 pm member only entry, become a member at the door!)

Saturday, November 11th – 9 – 12 pm SKI SALE     Saturday, November 11th – 4 – 6 pm PICK UP

Looking to sell gear?  Plan on dropping off your clean and ‘modern’ Alpine, Cross Country and Snowboard gear you’d like to sell at the North Conway Community Center on the evening of Thursday, November 9th between 5pm-8pm. Each item requires a tag ($1 each). Tags can be purchased in advance and filled out prior to drop off to prevent crowding. If you need assistance pricing your items, feel free to leave the price line blank. Tags will be available closer to the sale, stay tuned for an update!

All unsold items (and proceeds from your sales) MUST be picked up at the Community Center on Saturday, November 11th between 4pm-6pm. Anything NOT picked up will be considered a donation, and all proceeds from the sale will benefit the ESSC. The club keeps a 20% commission on all sold items.

Contactless payment available, cash and check accepted.  Items purchased at the ESSC Ski Sale are sold as is with no warranty or guarantee.  Questions? Message us on Facebook for a quick response!
