Effective immediately, Kennett Middle School athletic fields will be Dog-free.  While there are many responsible dog owners that pick up after their furry friends, there are many that do not.  And, since our students and teachers are outside with for their classes far more than ever and sprawling out all over the fields (and also eating lunch), we felt compelled to post the fields after an abundance of dog mess has been found, and has been increasing more and more each season/year.    The signs have been ordered and we will be putting them up as soon as we can.  This rule will also pertain to outside groups and organizations that use our fields on nights and weekends.  If a parent or family arrives with a dog at a game or sporting event, they will be asked to leave.  Just wanted to keep you all in the loop and help make our student’s outside learning environment as pleasant and clean as possible.     Thank you for your cooperation and supoprt - Have a wonderful day!
